The Owl on the Corner Series picture books may be read independently of each other as each story stands on its own; however, the ending of one story leads into the start of the next.
It is my hope and intention that Owl on the Corner books are fun to read, colorful and thought-provoking for the reader and listener, and perhaps even stir topics of conversation.
The Gift introduces the central character, the Owl, through an accidental encounter with a young man named Joey. With time, a friendship developed that brought about the Owl’s name and the desire for it to travel and learn more about people, and then to share those experiences with others.
